Hello:
I am with Victory Development Programs. We are one of the organizations that has been chosen by Detroit4Detroit. I noticed that many of the comments listed are from people who have a vision and the willingness to help.
Currently we are seeking a person with the willingness to support us by helping to write grants. Feel free to contact me @ (313)218-3339 to discuss volunteer opportunities.
I joined hoping to see program or formats for physical fitness for families. there are limited to no programs that all children and their parents to workout for little or no cost. with the child hood obesity rate being as high as it is I would think this would be a great way to help the city.?!!
Where to begin? Longtime member and supporter of Detroit Concert Choir, recently involved in The Greening of Detroit, would love to assist with street library idea outside closed branches… and so much more (Habitat for Humanity, etc.). Happy to commit time, research and writing skills and just plain hands-on labor to Detroit. Looking forward to new and continued involvement in the movement! Excited to learn more
