And more so than any city in the country, people in Detroit are doing just that. But we want more of them. Many of us wake up without the connections or tools needed to build the future we imagine for our children, our neighbors and ourselves.

Detroit4Detroit wants any citizen to have the access and tools they need to make a real and significant difference in their community. The first question many people ask is, “what can I do?” We have an answer. Local nonprofits have identified 150 critical projects in Detroit that need you. Each project is 100% Detroit and will have a direct impact on the future of this city.

The second question is, “how can I raise $1,000 to $10,000 for a community project?” You can do it. It’ easier than you think, and you won’t be alone. You’ll have your own online fundraising page. But more importantly, the Detroit4Detroit team will be providing you with coaching emails, helpful skill-building webinars, and answering your calls. By the end of the process, you’ll have not only reached your fundraising goal, but had a lot of fun and become a better community leader.

By the end of the year, 150 people like you will complete 150 community projects throughout Detroit. They will be young professionals, volunteers, small business owners, retirees, and students.
